President Zelensky Highlights Russia’s Advantage in Cross-Border Shelling

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia’s biggest advantage is the ability to shell Ukrainian territory from its own land, while Ukraine cannot strike Russian targets with Western weapons. He said this in an interview with the French news agency AFP, according to a UNN correspondent.

Zelensky noted that although Ukraine has more FPV drones than Russia, the Russians have an advantage in large drones. However, the main advantage of the enemy is that they can shell Ukraine with any weapon from their territory.

Anticipating the Impact of New American Aid

When asked when the new American aid will be felt on the front lines, Zelensky responded: «There are a series of steps that need to be taken. First and foremost, this package was adopted in order for Ukraine to be able to deter the enemy’s advance. I believe that in order to simply stand against the Russian army and beat them, you also need to have appropriate forces.»
