Ukrainian President Sees Mozambique as Key Player in Logistics for Ukrainian Food Products
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his belief that Mozambique could play a significant role in the logistics of delivering Ukrainian food products to other African countries. During a phone call with Mozambican President Felipe Nyusi, Zelensky highlighted Ukraine’s current exports of grain to Mozambique and expressed readiness to share agricultural expertise.
Zelensky noted that Mozambique has the potential to become a crucial link in the supply chain for Ukrainian food products to other African nations. He stressed the importance of food security, stating that it would be a top priority at the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland. The participation of Mozambique in the summit is seen as crucial by Ukraine for addressing food security issues on the continent.
