Changes in the application:
— Improved energy-saving mode: the application now consumes less energy.
— Bugs fixed: problems with alarm sound signals and updating the status in the pinned notification are no longer relevant.
The Ajax Systems blog states that unique notifications have been created for each type of alarm. In addition to sound signals, the application sends text messages with recommendations on what to do. This will help inform a large number of people in a timely manner about critical situations, such as a dam breach and the need for evacuation.
The update is already available for iOS and Android users. Developers remind users that to receive notifications about all types of alarms, it is necessary to install version 5.2 of the «Air Alarm» application.
