Working Visit to Haifa
During his working visit to the city of Haifa, Ambassador of Ukraine, Yevhen Korniychuk, held a meeting with Mayor Yona Yahav and representatives of the local Ukrainian community. The Ukrainian Embassy reported this on its Facebook page.
Interregional Cooperation
The diplomat discussed with Mayor Yona Yahav the possibilities of interaction at the interregional level and the establishment of a sisterhood relationship between Haifa and Ukrainian cities. They also discussed the support of the municipality for the idea of creating a Center for Ukrainian refugees.
Support for Ukrainian Families
During the meeting with Ukrainian activists, the needs of Ukrainian families living in Israel were discussed, as well as the possibility of organizing the External Independent Testing (EIT) for Ukrainian schoolchildren in this country.
Community Engagement
Mr. Korniychuk invited those present to participate in the events organized by the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
Promotion of Multiculturalism
Embassy representatives also took part in the annual conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, which was dedicated to multiculturalism issues.
