Simplified Conditions for Compensation of Damages from Russian Aggression

The government of Ukraine simplifies compensation application process

The government of Ukraine has made changes to the conditions for submitting applications for compensation for damages to the Loss Register, simplifying the procedure for citizens. As announced by the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in a Telegram channel, it is now no longer necessary to provide a document proving ownership of the damaged or destroyed building, as well as a survey report of the damaged housing.

Improving living conditions for citizens affected by aggression

Changes have been made to the procedure for submitting applications for compensation for losses, damages, or destruction caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine to the Loss Register caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services. Furthermore, the government has also changed the procedure for preferential mortgage lending for displaced persons, which is another step towards improving the living conditions of Ukrainian citizens affected by aggression.
