Development and Production Timeline
According to the latest information provided by @negativeonehero, the development of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected to be completed in April, samples will be sent to manufacturers in June, and mass production will begin in September. It is expected that this processor will be manufactured on a 3-nanometer process. The core frequency is expected to be 4.00+ GHz, and possibly overclocked models will be introduced. However, power consumption remains quite high at the moment.
Enhanced Performance
It is important to note that the computational performance of the artificial intelligence and digital signal processor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be almost twice as high as previous versions.
