Police K-9 Unit Saves Missing Grandma in Donetsk Region

Lost 82-Year-Old Woman Found with the Help of Police Dogs

Police dog handlers in the Donetsk region successfully located an 82-year-old woman who had gotten lost in a forest strip. The regional police reported that residents of Novoocheretovato village reached out to the authorities after their grandmother wandered off and failed to return home.

The police immediately launched a search operation, enlisting the help of K-9 units with service dogs. After thoroughly combing the village and surrounding areas, a service dog named King led officers to the lost grandmother lying in a helpless state three kilometers away from her residence.

The woman, who couldn’t explain how she ended up in the forest strip, was safely returned home by the police. She was then handed over to the care of her grateful relatives.
