During a telethon broadcast, the head of the Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, stated that Russian troops continue to regularly shell Odessa and the surrounding region.
Recent Attacks Reported:
«The enemy is indeed attacking the Odessa region, using various types of weapons. During the night, drones were used, then as dawn approached, the enemy used ballistic weapons to strike a transport and logistics facility. The attack occurred when workers from a transportation company were present,» said the spokesperson for the Southern Operational Command.
She also added that as a result of the shelling, two workers were injured. They were taken to the hospital and received medical assistance, their condition is stable.
«Later, the enemy once again attacked the Odessa region, this time using new batches of rockets. There was another strike on a transport and logistics facility. This shows that the enemy systematically tries to destroy the region’s industry and capabilities, which continue to operate normally in wartime conditions,» Humeniuk reported.
