Theft of Mobile Phone in Mukachevo
A local resident in Mukachevo reported to the police on May 22 that her 9-year-old daughter’s mobile phone was stolen in a store. A criminal investigation team from the Mukachevo district police department responded to the scene and conducted a thorough investigation.
After questioning witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage, the police identified an 18-year-old with a criminal record for property crimes as the culprit. The offender was swiftly apprehended, the stolen phone was recovered, and returned to the young girl.
The suspect has been charged under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and is currently in custody pending further investigation. The case is ongoing.
