The European Commission meets with Ukrainian representatives for official screening in agriculture
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has announced that the European Commission has started meetings with the Ukrainian representatives regarding the official screening in the field of agriculture.
Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Markiyan Dmytrasevych led the Ukrainian delegation. He emphasized the importance of unwavering support from the EU to Ukraine during the war with Russia.
The explanatory meetings focus on food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy. The fisheries chapter will be discussed later.
Ukraine is expected to present progress in each chapter, after which the European Commission will provide specific recommendations for EU accession.
