State Energy Supervision to Inspect Uneven Power Outages
Following numerous complaints from Ukrainians about uneven power outages, the State Energy Supervision has announced plans for a thorough inspection.
During a telethon, the head of the State Energy Supervision, Ruslan Slobodyan, stated that the regulator is currently analyzing citizens’ reports regarding the unfair distribution of electricity.
«We have identified several regions for inspection. Our inspectors will examine how system operators adhere to the principle of social justice in electricity distribution,» said Slobodyan.
Most complaints come from the Dnipropetrovsk region, indicating that inspections may start there.
Slobodyan noted that warm weather could impact adherence to scheduled outages.
