Head of National Security Committee: Ukrainian Mobilization Law Should Include Rotation Norm

The Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Speaks Out

The chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexander Zavitnevich, pointed out a significant flaw in the recently introduced government bill on mobilization in Ukraine. According to Zavitnevich, the bill lacks a provision on the rotation of servicemen.

«On the legislative level, there must be some provision on rotation, on its duration,» Zavitnevich emphasized in an interview with the «Interfax-Ukraine» agency.

He further stated, «this version is currently absent, although we have talked a lot about it in the committee.» The MP expressed confidence that his colleagues will propose to include a provision on rotation in the draft law between the first and second reading.
