The Bundestag Committee of Germany has approved the purchase of 105 Leopard 2A8 tanks, four Patriot systems, and guided missiles for 6 billion euros. This decision highlights the increasing military capability in Europe, as stated by Danilo Hetmantsev.

Details of the Purchase

The tanks, which will be delivered by 2030 by the KNDS company, are set to replace the outdated armored vehicles currently in use.

Negotiations are also in progress for an alliance between the Italian company Leonardo and Rheinmetall to produce Panther tanks and Lynx armored vehicles for the Italian Armed Forces, with a budget of 20 billion euros.
