Border guards seize attempt to smuggle Stradivarius violin
Border guards, together with customs officers, intercepted an attempt to smuggle a valuable Antonius Stradivarius violin across the Ukrainian-Polish border. According to the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, a 28-year-old resident of Lviv tried to transport this historical artifact to Poland, but her plans were thwarted during a check at the crossing point.
