According to Novosti.LIVE, the Municipal Housing and Utilities Enterprise «Avtozavodske» plans to review the terms and funding of the reconstruction of the dormitory on 71/73 Troitska Street.
New Plans for Dormitory Reconstruction
Under the new plans, the completion of the dormitory reconstruction is scheduled no earlier than September 30. Additionally, the maximum funding amount is being increased: now up to 6,000 dollars can be allocated per each displaced person, compared to the previous 5,000 dollars. This amount may also be determined by the International Finance Corporation, which provides funds for repairs.
On June 16, 2023, a grant agreement was signed for the repair of housing for internally displaced persons. In January, the Avtozavodske Municipal Housing and Utilities Enterprise announced a tender for the reconstruction of the dormitory on 71/73 Troitska Street. The cost of the work was over 32 million hryvnias, and it was planned to be completed by mid-June 2024.
The decision of the Kremenchuk City Council confirms the review of the terms and details of the reconstruction, especially in connection with the risks associated with the selected contractor, who has criminal cases. Currently, the Bureau of Economic Security and the police are actively working to resolve the situation and ensure the proper execution of the contract.
