Polish politician Grzegorz Braun has sparked controversy on social media by posting a video of himself removing the flag of Ukraine from one of the poles on the Kosciuszko mound in Krakow.
Scandal with Polish politicians
The organization of an action with grain at the Ukrainian border was provoked by the marginal Polish politician Rafal Makler. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. They also pointed out that the «Confederation» party advocates for Poland’s exit from the EU, criticizes the placement of NATO troops in the country, and agitates for improved relations with the Russian Federation. The political force does not enjoy widespread support among Poles. It is worth noting that Makler himself ran for the Polish Sejm in 2019, but did not make it to parliament.
