Court ruling against aggressive man who damaged ambulance

The court in the Zaliznychny district of Lviv has issued a ruling against a local resident who aggressively confronted police officers and medics, as well as damaged an ambulance. The man has been fined. The decision was announced on Monday, July 15, in the Unified State Register.

Incident details

Court documents indicate that the incident took place on April 6 this year near house No. 12-b on O. Stepanivna Street in Lviv. The man, in a state of intoxication, called for an ambulance due to his own aggressive behavior. The police arrived with the medical workers.

«Under the influence of alcohol, he engaged in minor hooliganism, using foul language towards police officers and medical workers of the 106th ambulance brigade in front of other citizens. In addition, he struck the window of the 106th ambulance brigade’s vehicle, disrupting public order and peace,» the court ruling stated.

After the court hearing, the man admitted his guilt, explaining that his actions were provoked by the medical workers, who, according to him, did not adequately respond to his condition.

Court ruling and fines

Judge Ivanna Ivanyuk found Stepan H. guilty of minor hooliganism and imposed a fine of 119 hryvnias on him. The offender must also pay a court fee of 605 hryvnias and 60 kopecks. The ruling can be appealed within 10 days.
