Ukraine re-elected to the International Grain Council

Ukraine has been re-elected to the International Grains Council (IGC) Administrative Committee for the years 2024-2025 during a meeting in London.

According to AgroPolit, Member of Parliament Stepan Chernyavskyi stated that the meeting was attended by representatives of grain-producing and grain-importing countries, who discussed the impact of the war in Ukraine on global food security.

The Ukrainian side emphasized the government’s balanced policy in global trade and the resilience of the national agricultural sector. The Russian delegation did not participate in the discussion, only recording the positions of the participating countries.

Earlier it was reported that the Peace Summit supported Ukraine’s position regarding the protection of ports.
