Changes in travel abroad: what has changed?

New restrictions for men of conscription age

Starting from June, men of conscription age with permanent residence abroad are temporarily unable to leave Ukraine, according to the State Border Guard Service. Changes in legislation have recently come into effect that prevent this category of individuals from exiting the country. Even those with an official permit for permanent residence in another country and consular registration are affected by this restriction, as they are still considered Ukrainian citizens under the law. State Border Guard Service representative Andriy Demchenko clarified that regardless of their documentation, these individuals must comply with the new regulation.
