Vitaliy Koval, the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, visited the state-owned enterprise «Ivano-Frankivsk Boiler and Welding Plant» during a working trip, the «Vikna» publication reports.
«Unfortunately, the condition in which I saw the enterprise caused sadness. Decades without state orders have led to its decline. However, we have positive prospects, especially through possible privatization and transition to private ownership. This object, located in the city center, has huge potential for development,» Koval emphasized.
According to the head of the State Property Fund, the 14 hectares of land in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk are a significant resource.
«It is important to note that privatization is not the end, but only the beginning of a new stage. These 14 hectares of land in the city center are a significant resource for any business, from residential construction to innovative manufacturing,» Koval stated.
It is also mentioned that after a change in management, the enterprise quickly prepared for the privatization process and will soon hold an auction.
