Athletes from Vinnytsia Region Shine at Ukrainian Canoe Sprint Championship
Athletes from Vinnytsia region have made their mark at the Ukrainian Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint Championship, bringing home an impressive total of 13 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze medals. The Sports and Physical Activity Department of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration reported the outstanding achievement.
Strong Performance by Vinnytsia Rowers
With over 360 rowers participating in the competition, the team from Vinnytsia region showed their strength by finishing in fourth place out of 25 teams in Ukraine.
Impressive Results
Some notable performances by Vinnytsia rowers include Yulianna Putnina winning 5 gold and 1 bronze medal, Ivan Butov taking home 2 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal, and Georgiy Seleznyov becoming the owner of 2 gold and 1 silver medal.
Other standout athletes include Volodymyr Naraievskyi with 1 gold and 2 silver medals, Marina Chorna securing 1 gold and 2 silver medals, and Yevhenii Dovhyi claiming 1 gold medal.
