Russian occupiers carry out 28 shelling attacks in Sumy region
On May 26, Russian occupiers carried out 28 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. This was reported by the Sumy regional military-administrative organization.
A total of 127 explosions were recorded in the following communities: Khotynska, Yunakivska, Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Myropilska, Velykopysarivska, Putyvlska, Esman, Seredyno-Bud, Znob-Novgorodska.
The attackers used artillery strikes, FPV drones, and mortars, disrupting the peaceful life of local residents. In particular:
— In Velykopysarivska community, the enemy used artillery (6 explosions);
— In Krasnopilska community, FPV drones, artillery, and mortar fire were used (26 explosions);
— Bilopilska community was hit by artillery and mortar fire (33 explosions);
— Yunakivska community was shelled with artillery (12 explosions);
— Khotynska community was affected by mortar shelling (11 explosions);
— Seredyno-Bud community was targeted with mortar and artillery fire (21 explosions);
— Znob-Novgorodska community was shelled with mortars (4 explosions);
— Putyvlska community was a target for mortar attacks (5 explosions);
— Myropilska community was shelled with artillery fire (3 explosions).
