Bournemouth appoints Tiago Pinto as director of football operations
English Premier League club Bournemouth has officially announced that Tiago Pinto has been appointed as the director of football operations. The 39-year-old Portuguese specialist will begin his duties next week, working closely with the club’s chief executive Neil Blake and technical director Simon Francis.
Previously holding a similar role at Benfica, Pinto was dismissed from his position as sporting director of Roma in January of this year. Despite this, Bournemouth looks forward to the experience and expertise he will bring to the team.
Bournemouth finished the 2023/2024 season in 12th place in the Premier League table, and hopes are high for Pinto to help guide the club to future success.
