Provision of consular services for men aged 18-60 abroad is suspended

Temporary Suspension of Consular Services for Men Aged 18-60

Ukrainian consulates abroad have suspended the provision of consular services to men aged 18 to 60 starting from April 23. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that yesterday he ordered measures to be taken to restore «fair treatment of men of conscription age in Ukraine and abroad.»

According to information on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainian citizens can turn to consulates with the following issues:

  • Issuance of a biometric passport, extension of the validity of a biometric passport, inclusion of data on minor children in the biometric passports of their parents;
  • Certification of documents and notarial acts;
  • Registration of civil status acts (birth, marriage registration and divorce, death registration, name change registration), issuance of duplicates of certificates and extracts from the State Civil Registration and Notary Service;
  • Consular registration.

Additionally, consular offices abroad provide legal assistance and accept applications regarding Ukrainian citizenship.
