Consequences of the storm in the Kyiv region: restoring infrastructure

Restoration Efforts Underway in Kiev Region

Restoration is ongoing in the Kiev region after yesterday’s natural disaster, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Impact of Strong Winds

Strong winds caused power lines to break, buildings to collapse, and trees to fall, leading to extensive damage across the region.

As a result, power has been restored for 113 thousand families in 276 settlements as of the morning of April 3. However, 24 power lines in 53 cities and villages still require attention.

Completion Expected Today

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration has stated that restoration work is scheduled to be completed by the end of today, unless new emergencies arise due to weather conditions.
