Lviv Doctors Save Baby Girl Born at 26 Weeks
Lviv doctors have amazed the world with their incredible feat of saving a baby girl who was born at just 26 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 600 grams. This miraculous event occurred at the Lviv Regional Perinatal Center and has been making waves on social media.
119 Days of Care and Observation
The baby girl was immediately hospitalized in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care for newborns, where she was closely monitored around the clock for 119 days. During this time, she received all necessary medication and donor breast milk from the Perinatal Center Breast Milk Bank.
A Journey to Health
During her time in the hospital, the baby girl underwent a complex journey, from assisted respiratory support to a laser eye surgery for retinal correction on the 85th day of life. After 119 days of dedicated care, the baby girl was discharged home weighing 2440 grams and measuring 42 cm. The doctors at the perinatal center continue to monitor her health closely.
