Center for Social and Psychological Assistance for Victims of Gender-Based Violence in Sokal
In the city of Sokal in the Lviv region, a Center for Social and Psychological Assistance for women and girls who have become victims of gender-based violence has been opened. Established in partnership with the local council, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Ukraine, and the Charity Fund «Butterfly» with the support of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, this place provides a crisis shelter, short-term accommodation for up to 10 days, and necessary psychological, medical, and legal assistance.
