Preventive activities management of the National Police in Kyiv
Reported that the capital’s law enforcement officers have registered 5387 appeals from local military commissariats regarding the establishment of the whereabouts and delivery of individuals for drawing up administrative protocols against them. Currently, 1416 individuals have been delivered to military commissariats for drawing up administrative materials related to evasion of military service. The police are searching for 4955 individuals who have evaded military service.
A similar situation in other regions of Ukraine
For example, in Lviv region, approximately 2146 individuals did not appear at the military commissariats, out of which 1226 were wanted and delivered to military commissariats. In Volyn region, military commissariats and recruitment offices are searching for about 8,000 draft dodgers. They have been entered into the electronic register of conscripts «Obereg» due to their failure to appear at the military commissariats in response to the summons. In Chernivtsi region, more than 5,000 men who did not appear at the military commissariats and recruitment offices have been put on the wanted list.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko emphasized
That the police are only looking for those citizens who evade mobilization after receiving a summons, upon a written request from the military commissariats.
