Rasul Guliyev: A Golden Performance

17-year-old Rasul Guliyev dominated the 57 kg weight category, claiming the gold medal with his impeccable technique. He defeated top opponents from Turkey, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Albania, all by unanimous decision.

Oleksandr Slesariev: Bronze Triumph

16-year-old Oleksandr Slesariev added to the success with a bronze in the super heavyweight category. With prior experience as a junior Euros champion, he showcased his talent by defeating opponents before falling to the eventual champion in the semifinals.

Coaches Alibeyli and Mustafaev: Guiding Stars

Coaches Nureddin Alibeyli and Azer Mustafaev played a crucial role in the athletes’ preparation, contributing to Ukraine’s overall success at the championships. With 22 medals in total, including 8 gold, Ukraine secured the top spot in the team standings.
