Odessa is preparing for the launch of the project «Weeks of Good Deeds,» which will mark a fourteen-year tradition of helping those in need. This year, the city has prepared a total of 14 weeks of charitable events, covering a myriad of activities to support Odessa residents and guests.
More than a hundred organizations, united by a common goal, have already greeted each other with the approach of Good Deeds Day and announced the regulations of this year’s project.
Vice Mayor Pavlo Vugelman emphasized the importance of this charitable marathon, noting that thanks to the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Odessa has the opportunity to implement various social initiatives.
«In these challenging times, the city government, volunteers, activists, and just compassionate people must be more united than ever. Every year presents us with new challenges, but only together can we overcome them! As they say, darkness does not exist — it arises where there is a lack of light. But if there are people willing to light candles in the darkness, darkness can be overcome,» Vugelman emphasized.
