Difficult Situation with Electricity Supply in Kharkiv and Region
Results of the meeting of the Coordination Staff for emergency response in the energy system indicate a difficult situation with electricity supply in Kharkiv and the region.
«For 300 thousand residents of Kharkiv and a total of 550 thousand in the region, we have a deficit of electricity,» said the head of the regional administration Oleh Synegubov.
He explained that the schedules have been adjusted in such a way that at least at night all residents of the city have electricity. However, there are problems with the internal network in the region, which cannot handle the voltage — just in the last day, two emergency disconnections were recorded.
«At the moment, the situation with the power supply is difficult, I recommend to all residents of the region, if possible, to limit the use of elevators in high-rise buildings, consider the possibility of autonomous sources of electricity, and use household appliances economically — do not overload the system,» emphasized Synegubov.
In the schedules that he published, it is seen that in different areas, there is no light for 7 hours at different times of the day.
